Ingredients

Red Ass Gourmet Original Dry Rub
¼ cup apple cider vinegar
3 tablespoons of liquid smoke
1 cup of water
2 racks baby back pork ribs
Red Ass Gourmet’s Brandon’s Sweet Hickory Barbecue Sauce. (Available soon). Or Red Ass Gourmet’s Honey Mustard.

Directions

Step 1      Liberally apply Red Ass Gourmet’s Original Dry Rub to ribs and rub in. Don’t forget to remove the membrane from the back. Let sit for one to three hours.

Step 2      Combine vinegar, water, and liquid smoke in a multi-functional pressure cooker (such as Instant Pot®).

Step 3      Add a trivet to the pot and place ribs on top, trimming as needed to fit. Close and lock the lid; set valve to sealing. Choose high pressure and set the timer for 23 minutes. Allow 10 to 15 minutes for pressure to build.

Step 4      Release pressure using the natural-release method according to manufacturer’s instructions, about 15 minutes. Unlock and remove the lid.

Step 5      Place Ribs on baking sheet. Set oven to broil. Slather on Red Ass Gourmet’s Brandon’s Sweet Hickory Barbecue Sauce. (Available soon). Or Red Ass Gourmet’s Honey Mustard. Broil until the sauce starts to caramelize.

Step 6      Dish up, serve, and enjoy.
