cook: 23 mins
additional: 15 mins
Servings: 8
Yield: 8 servings
Ingredients
Brandon’s Dry Rub
¼ cup apple cider vinegar
3 tablespoons of liquid smoke
1 cup of water
2 racks baby back pork ribs
Brandon’s Sweet Hickory Barbecue Sauce Or Brandon’s Honey Mustard.
Directions
Step 1 Apply Brandon’s Dry Rub to the ribs and rub in. Don’t forget to remove the membrane from the back. Let sit for one to three hours.
Step 2 Combine vinegar, water, and liquid smoke in a multi-functional pressure cooker (such as Instant Pot®).
Step 3 Add a trivet to the pot and place ribs on top, trimming as needed to fit. Close and lock the lid; set the valve to sealing. Choose high pressure and set the timer for 23 minutes. Allow 10 to 15 minutes for pressure to build.
Step 4 Release pressure using the natural-release method according to the manufacturer’s instructions, for about 15 minutes. Unlock and remove the lid.
Step 5 Place Ribs on a baking sheet. Set oven to broil. Slather on Brandon’s Sweet Hickory Barbecue Sauce or Brandon’s Honey Mustard. Broil until the sauce starts to caramelize.
